NEW PATIENT INFORMATION

Relief starts right here.

If you’re visiting us for the first time, welcome.

This page walks you through what to expect, how appointments work,
and how we handle insurance and payment. Our goal is simple:

An easy visit + clear options
so you can decide what’s next.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Let’s start off
on the right foot.

Schedule an appointment.

Call or text (281) 313-0090, or book online to schedule your appointment. We hold appointments each day for new patients and send your forms ahead of time to complete before you arrive.

Arrive a few minutes early.

Parking is easy, and the office is located on the first floor, so you can park right outside and walk straight in. Our team will check you in and get you settled quickly—we aim to see patients within about 10 minutes of their appointment time.

Understand what's happening.

Dr. Vargas will talk with you about what you’re experiencing, examine your foot or ankle, and explain what’s actually causing the problem. Many patients tell us this is the first time someone has clearly explained why their pain is happening.

Review your treatment options.

Once we understand the cause, we’ll walk through the treatment options together. Dr. Vargas focuses on regenerative treatments whenever possible—solutions that help your body heal without altering your anatomy.

Start getting better the same day.

If you choose to move forward with treatments, many patients begin the same day. Whether it’s laser therapy, shockwave treatment, orthotics, or another approach, you’ll leave with a clear plan and the next step toward relief.

New Patient Forms

Once your appointment is scheduled, we’ll send your patient forms ahead of time so you can complete them on your phone or computer before you arrive. You can also review or print them using the links below.

Financial Information

Every patient’s situation is different, so we take the time to walk through your options before moving forward.

Insurance often covers office visits and imaging, while many advanced regenerative therapies are private pay. We accept cash, major credit cards, CareCredit, and Afterpay, and we’ll explain any costs clearly before anything begins.

Insurance Coverage

Insurance typically covers your office visit, imaging (such as X-rays), and certain traditional treatments, like injections or surgery. Coverage varies by plan, and our team can help verify your benefits and explain what is covered

Private Pay Treatments

Many advanced regenerative therapies—such as laser treatments and shockwave therapy—are not covered by insurance. These treatments focus on helping the body heal naturally and often help patients avoid surgery or extended recovery time.

If a recommended treatment is not covered, we’ll explain the cost clearly before anything begins so you can decide whether it’s right for you.

CareCredit and Afterpay Financing

We offer financing through CareCredit and Afterpay to make treatment more manageable. These options allow you to divide the cost of care into smaller payments over time.

Our team can help you apply or answer questions if you’d like to explore either option.

No referral is needed. Call or text (281) 377-6546, or book online when it’s convenient for you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), and any prior imaging or records related to your foot or ankle condition.

Not at all. We’re located at 4655 Sweetwater Blvd, Suite 650 in Sugar Land, with simple parking right outside and easy access to our first-floor office.

How much does the first appointment cost?

The price of your first visit depends on your insurance coverage and whether imaging is needed. In many cases, the office visit and X-rays are covered by insurance. If you’d like a firm number before booking, please call our office. We’ll ask a few quick questions and tell you what to expect.
