Meet Dr. Marco Vargas - Podiatrist
Marco Vargas, DPM, FACFAS, DABFAS
At Vargas Foot Specialists, double board-certified podiatrist Marco Vargas, DPM, FACFAS, DABFAS, provides complete podiatry care to people of all ages.
Dr. Vargas earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and his podiatry degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. Before entering private practice, he completed a residency in podiatric surgery at Anaheim General Hospital in Anaheim, California.
Dr. Vargas takes a conservative and patient-centric approach to treatment. Whenever possible, he uses noninvasive measures, like physical therapy, biological therapy, and sports medicine, to relieve pain, encourage mobility, and improve the quality of life. For more severe problems, Dr. Vargas offers braces and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Vargas proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Diabetes Association.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Vargas enjoys spending time with his three children and two English bulldogs. He’s an avid outdoorsman who loves boating and fishing and is a huge Florida Gator and Miami Dolphin football fan.
